What is an Open Access?

Open Access (OA) is the practice of providing unrestricted access through the Internet to peer-reviewed scholarly journal articles. Scientfic Archives of Dental Sciences follows Creative Commons Attribution License.


How do I submit my article?

Author can submit article through online link. Electronic submission substantially reduces the editorial processing and reviewing times and shortens overall publication times.


What can I find the Scope of Journal?

To know about the scope of the particular Journal, please go through the “Aims and Scope” section provided in the Journal Home Page. Each Journal is having this specific section in detail. If you have any further queries, please contact the journal of your interest through the email ID provided in the Journal site.


How are submissions peer-reviewed?

All submissions are sent out for independent peer-review by experts in the respective scientific field. Focus on the quality of the scientific content, novelty of the study and technical accuracy of a manuscript along with excellent presentation of the data remains the foremost priority for the assigned reviewers.


How many days it will take for Review Process/ Publication of article?

All the articles undergo through rapid review process for maximum of 21 working days from the initial date of submission. The accepted articles will be published online within 2 days.


When will I receive online access to my article

Corresponding authors will be sent URLs for their online paper.


Why have changes been made to my article after it was accepted?

All papers are subject to copyediting and type setting after acceptance to ensure that articles meet the journals style.


Who retains the copyright?

Authors retain the sole copyright of their work under the terms outlined by the Creative Commons licenses while allowing others to copy, distribute, and use the work in a non-commercial way. The user of the information should acknowledge the author of the original work.


Is there any page limit for writing manuscripts?

There is no page limit for regular or special issue manuscripts but Editorial articles should not exceed 2000 words.


What is the difference between copyright infringement and plagiarism?

Copyright infringement occurs when an author's work is reused or republished without the permission of the copyright owner, whether or not author attribution accompanied the reuse.

Plagiarism occurs when an author's work has been reused or republished in such a manner as to make it appear as someone else's work, e.g., without quotation marks and citation of the original work.


Do you charge for a manuscript submission?

We do not charge any manuscript submission fee. The author will be asked to pay the article processing charge, only when a manuscript has been accepted for publication.


Can we receive a waiver for our article's charges?

Why should an author pay the article processing charge?

Open Access publishing is not free of cost to the author. Scienticon is an independent organization and hold no affiliations with any funding organizations. It is dedicated to provide immediate barrier-free open access to all its research content permanently for any internet user in the world. SAODS ask for an affordable article processing charge from the author to cover the cost of producing full text and PDF formats as well as archiving and indexing the published articles permanently.


Do you have reprint service?
